Xavier DUQUENNE

Biography

Xavier is a lawyer registered with the Lyon Bar and holds degrees from Paris X Nanterre University and Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main (Germany).

He began his career within the French representation of EY (French Desk) in Frankfurt/Main. This position followed a VIE assignment (formerly CSNE). In this role, he developed cross-disciplinary expertise at the intersection of various areas of law and taxation. This international experience also enabled him to acquire a strong sensitivity in client support and case coordination, particularly in transnational contexts.

After four years in Germany, Xavier joined EY in France at the Lyon office. Within the Human Capital team, which he headed from 2007 and which specializes in international mobility issues, Xavier managed an international client base made up of major companies and businesses from the entrepreneurial market (SMEs).

In 2017, Xavier joined VALORIS AVOCATS as a partner to support the opening of a secondary office in Lyon. In 2022, he was appointed co-manager, alongside Ralf Pawolleck, of the Swiss subsidiary Valoris Advisory based in Geneva.

He assists his clients in French, English, and German.
